Nam Provost

Executive Director

Nam Provost (she/her) was most recently the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at American Public Media Group. She is a thought leader on the topics of cultural fluency, organizational effectiveness, workplace equity, strategic planning, human potential and adult learning. After working on Racial Equity in the community of Duluth, MN, Nam went on to spend 20 years as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practitioner in organizations such as Minneapolis Institute of Art and the College of St. Scholastica. She has her MBA in Leadership and Change from the College of St. Scholastica.

Minna Jain

Director, Learning & Development

Minna Jain (they/them) is a child of Finnish Indigenous Saami and South Asian immigrants. They are a writer, lifelong social justice organizer and a thought leader on such topics as systems of power, liberation and transformation. Minna has over thirty years of training in mindfulness and meditation, and two decades of professional experience in the field of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access (DEIA.) They work as a DEIA Organization Development and Change Management Consultant and Racial Equity Facilitator in Minneapolis, MN.

Bob Randall

Lead Consultant

Bob Randall (he/him) Bob is the Vice President of Learning and Development at APi Group. Previous to this role, he was CEO of Transcend Engagement LLC, a provider of employee engagement technology and consultancy firm. Bob is also Assistant Professor of Management at the College of St. Scholastica in their MBA Leadership and Change program. In addition, Bob spent 25 years in a wide variety of leadership roles in private industry. Bob has his MBA in Finance and Doctorate in Organization Development, both from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN.

Carl Crawford

Honorary Speaker

Carl Crawford (he/him) is the Human Rights Officer for the City of Duluth, where he is charged with enforcing City and state human rights laws and works to ensure City services are accessible to all people without discrimination. He is the Equal Opportunity Representative for the City of Duluth and the ADA Coordinator. Carl has served as Lake Superior College’s Intercultural Center Coordinator, and has served on numerous Boards of Directors, including Community Action Duluth, Men as Peacemakers and the NAACP. He is the recipient of the 2012 MLK Jr. Drum Major for Peace Award.
